Who We Are
Nestled within the forests of southern Arkansas, Thrive Church is a multi-denominational group of believers emphasizing the life-changing power of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Mark and his wife Erin both serve as Senior Pastors for our Camden Campus and El Dorado Campus respectively. These two campuses make up the Thrive Church family of churches.
The Smith's, along with the entire Thrive team, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through practical Bible teaching each week in person and online via our flourishing online campus.

We are fully dedicated to going far beyond our buildings. Through our Home Missions Program and Online Campus Outreach we reach our community and world with the love of Jesus Christ.
From regularly setting up mobile outreaches at festivals and events to ministering in nursing and correctional facilities, we work hard to be a regular presence in the communities we serve.
Through our Online Campus we reach our online members each week with an engaging livestream. Additionally, through our online Bible Minute programs, we reach far beyond our physical campus with the message of Jesus Christ!
The church has left the building!

What We Believe
At a Glance
Thrive Church brings together believers from different backgrounds, united around Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, and the present work of the Holy Spirit.
1. The Bible
The Bible is God’s inspired, trustworthy, and infallible Word—our final authority for what we believe and how we live.
2. The Triune God
There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is our Creator, faithful, loving, holy, and good.
3. Humanity, Sin, and the Kingdom of God
God created humanity in His image. Sin brought brokenness and death, but through Jesus, God brings forgiveness, freedom, healing, and restoration.
4. Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully human. Through His sinless life, death, and bodily resurrection, He secured our forgiveness and defeated sin, death, and the devil. He reigns as Lord today.
5. Salvation and the New Birth
Salvation is God’s gift, available to everyone and received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Through Him, we are forgiven, made new, and welcomed into God’s family. Jesus is the only way to the Father.
6. God’s Goodness, Provision, and Blessing
God is a good Father who cares about every area of our lives, including our practical, financial, and material needs. We trust His provision and receive His blessings with gratitude, generosity, and wise stewardship. Sin, sickness, oppression, bondage, destruction, and death reflect the brokenness and darkness Jesus came to overcome. We look to Jesus’ compassion and restoring work to understand the Father’s character.
7. Divine Healing
God still heals today. Healing expresses His compassion and Christ’s restoring work. We pray with faith and stand alongside those who suffer with love, encouragement, and compassion.
8. Baptism and the Holy Spirit
We practice water baptism by immersion after faith in Jesus. We also believe Jesus baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit, empowering them for witness and ministry, including speaking in tongues.
9. Life in the Spirit
The gifts of the Holy Spirit remain active today and should operate in love and biblical order. We desire both His supernatural power and His transforming character—spiritual gifts and spiritual fruit belong together.
10. The Church
The Church is Christ’s Body, called to reach outward, serve others, and welcome people from every background to encounter Jesus. Gathering regularly is essential to growing in faith and following Jesus together.
11. Christ’s Victory and Return
Jesus is risen, reigning, and coming again. He will raise the dead, bring righteous judgment, and fully reveal His victory. His restored creation will be free from sickness, sorrow, pain, and death.
Jesus Is at the Center
Jesus Christ is Lord. Through His death and resurrection, He has defeated the powers of sin, death, and darkness. Through Him, life with God is available to everyone who believes.
